Whaleshead Beach features a prominent rock that bears an uncanny resemblance to the head of a giant whale protruding from the water. Adding to the illusion, waves strike the rock in such a way that the richochet mimicks the spray from the spout of an actual whale. This expansive beach includes a picnic area and a forested hiking trail.
